It has low operating cost, modular system equipment. The process of BDS: Natural aerobic bacteria react with the organic sulfide, break the C-S bond by selective oxidation, the sulfur atoms were oxidized to sulfate or sulfite and then into the water phase, the skeleton structure of DBT were oxidized to hydroxy-biphenyls to stay in the oil phase, so as to achieve the aim of sulfide removal. BDS technology has been developed for several decades, so far it's still at the stage of development. BDS technology has many advantages, it can be combined with HDS device which can reduce the producing cost. Due to the additional value of the organic sulfur products is high, BDS is more competitive in economic than HDS. BDS also can combine with catalytic adsorption desulfurization, this is an effective way to achieve deep desulfurization of fuel oil. So, the BDS technology has wide application prospects
