DESCRIPTION

CENSTIC PROTECT 2424 is an organic deposition control agent that is highly effective in controlling pitch and stickies deposition in Pulp, Paper and Recycled Fiber Plant systems. CENSTIC PROTECT 2424 is a nonionic polymer formulation that functions by encapsulation and detackification mechanisms.

APPLICATION

CENSTIC PROTECT 2424 should be added to the system ahead of the point of deposition that will allow 15 to 30 minutes of retention time. Typical treatment dosage rates will vary between 1 and 5 lb/ton dry fiber. Contact your CENWAY representative for specific recommendations for your application.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

CENSTIC PROTECT 2424 is available in bulk, tote-bins and drums. PROTECT 2424 should be stored at temperatures between 45 and 100 ° F. Short term exposure to temperatures outside this range will not harm the product. If frozen CENSTIC PROTECT 2424 should be warmed to 80 ° F and mixed well before use.
