Cenosphere

1) Reduced raw materials cost 2) Improved flowability 3) Reduced resin demand 4) Improved insulation values resistant

Cenosphere is a lightweight, inert, hollow sphere comprising of largely of silica and alumina and filled with air and / or gases. Cenospheres are a naturally occurring by-product of the burning process at coal-fired power plants, and they have most of the same properties as manufactured hollow-sphere products.Chemical properties:1) Silica: 55% - 65% 2) Alumina: 25% - 35% 3) Iron oxide: 1% - 5% 4) Titania: 0.5% - 1.5% Physical properties:1) Size: 0-350 microns 2) pH in water: 6.0 - 8.0 3) Bulk density: 23 - 28lbs/cu. ft. 4) Specific gravity 0.6 - 0.8 5) Softening point above 1,800 degrees F 6) Shape spherical 7) Color: grey, light grey,
