4. Solution Preparation:

1. Fill the clean tank with 2/3 full of deionised water and then heat to about 50°C;

2. Add required quantity of the potassium/sodium hydroxide; stir to get it dissolve completely. Add required Neochel or sodium cyanide, stir further to get it dissolve completely.

3. Add the required cuprous cyanidewith vigorous stirring to get it dissolve completely;

4. Add 4-6g/L activated carbon, stir the solution continuously for about two hours and then let it stay for above four hours or a whole night.

5. Filter the plating solution into a clean plating tank with a filtering pump;

6. Add the water to required volume;

7. Electrolyze the solution for about 4-8 hours by low current density (0.5 AMP/ DM2) with wave-shaped stainless steel cathode;

8. Add the additives and stir the solution thoroughly, heat it to working temperature and operate the bath.
