Ceramic Fiber Modules is a lining system designed for high temperature furnaces that require corrosion barriers on the shell. Such modules are held to the steel casing by stainless steel studs that are welded to the shell before a protective coating is applied.1. Properties: · Excellent resistance to chemical attack· Unaffected by oil and water.· Thermal and physical properties restored after drying· High tensile strength· Light weight insulation, low heat storage, low thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance· Installs quickly and reliably over coated shells with or without vapor barrier· Better resistance to mechanical abuse than conventional blanket systems2.
