    Calamine is a smithsonite of carbonate of calcite group containing mainly zinc carbonate .

Action: To counteract toxicity, to clear the eye of corneal opacity, to arrest discharges, and to relieve itching.

Indications: Inflammation of the eye, tarsitis, pterygium, corneals opacity; skin ulceration with purulent discharge or exudation; pruritus.
