Either water tank, diesel tank, or hydraulic tank, normally this kind of tanks requires molded inserts. Apart from parting line, where leakage might happen after a tank is molded, more consideration needs to be put into looking at sections where molded-in inserts sit in.
Well, generally, to avoid that problem, we will consider designing proper flange mating surfaces, chooising proper position for vent tubes, and using special feature around molded-in inserts ensuring inserts are covered and sealed well with PE material. We will make sure, our rotational moulds for tanks won't encouter with that problem.
