  The hyaluronate acid plays important physiological roles of lubrication and moisture holding in human tissues and organs such as articular cavity, cartilage, blood vessel, heart, eye and brain. Reduction of hyaluronate acid content in these tissues may cause arthritis, arteriosclerosis, anisosphygmia, eye aging, encephalatrophy, etc. Through absorption by intestines, oral hyaluronate acid could increase precursor of synthesis of hyaluronate acid so as to increase its content in human body, which is used to supplement hyaluronate acid in tissues, delay senility, and invigorate the body.

The hyaluronate acid in human body is about a dozen grams, which plays an important role in physiological activities of human body. Reduction of hyaluronate acid content in skin may cause weakening of moisture holding capacity of the skin, and the skin seems to be rough and dry and generates wrinkles. Through digestion and absorption of hyaluronate acid, the skin would become moistened and smooth, soft and elastic, and the effects of delaying senility, preventing arthritis, arteriosclerosis, anisosphygmia and encephalatrophy could be achieved.

The product is white powder or grains, and odorless with hygroscopicity. It dissolves into colorless and transparent solution after swelling in water. It is insoluble in ethanol, chloroform, ether and other organic solvents.

(1) The infra-red reference spectra of the product are consistent with reference substance. (2) The product should show the identification reaction of sodium salt.
