Properties:
Chemical name: Calcium Stearate.
Molecular formula: Ca(C17H35COO)2.
Molecular weight : M=606.
Physical and Chemical Properties: white fine powder, non-toxic, specific gravity of 1.08, melting point:150±5°C, soluble slightly in hot alcohol. It will absorb moisture in air and decompound into stearate and zinc when meeting strong acid.
