The press has four columns that tie together two stationary platens (the crown and the worktable). There is one sliding platen (beam) between the stationary platens. The main large hydraulic cylinder mounted on the top stationary platen is driving the sliding platen.
The main geometrical parameters of the press without control and hydraulic cabinet are:

6.Description of press work cycle:
Initial position:
Sliding plate – all way up;
Step 1: Sliding plate down in no-load mode
Step 2: Sliding plate switch to work mode by proximity switch
Step 3: Sliding plate down in work mode till desired force achieved as measured by transducer
Step 4: Start timer when desired force achieved
Step 5: Upper sliding plate all way up after time on timer runs out
Repeat cycle
