Hot Dipped Galvanizing:

PPGI is prepainted , also known as precoated steel, coil coated steel, color coated steel etc.A galvanised steel sheet in form is cleaned, pretreated, applied with various layers of organic coatings which can be , dispersions, or .These coatings are applied in a continuous process known as Coil Coating.The steel thus produced in this process is a prepainted, prefinished ready to use material. PPGI is the material which uses galvanised steel as the basic substrate . There could be other substrates such as , Galvalume, , etc.

Notes for cutting:

 

a. Minimize the area of flash of cutting edge, otherwise color coated steel sheet would be scratched in stock. b. Remove the flash and powder generated from cutting as soon as possible, or they will harm the surface of steel sheet and form the source of scratch and roasting. c. When cutting the color coated steel sheet, plastic roller should be adopted. Adding a rubber cushion to the surface of steel sheet could be a better choice for avoiding damage to surface.

 

Notes for curving:

a. Remove the remainder and roast attached to the parts in stamping processing as they may cause scratch ,dent and reduce the durability. b. As the outer edge of curved part could be elongated after processing, slight wrinkle may be generated, but not a problem yet. Maximizing the curving rate of processing part could eliminate this defect. c. Thickness of coating layer should be taken into account when setting the clearance between punch and die. d. As the coating appliqué may become fragile when temperature is too low, thus wrinkle, sink and slipping may arise during the processing in low temperature. Deformation processing should be avoided when the temperature of steel sheet is lower than 21 .Should temperature of environment becomes too low, warming the steel sheet could be a better choice. e. In order to keep the formation roller and surface of steel sheet from damaging and scratch, formation roller (such as quenched steel and mold die) made of hard material should be adopted. Chrome should be galvanized to the surface of roller.f. It is advisable to add protective appliqué onto the surface of color coated steel sheet. When the construction finished, protective appliqué could be removed.
