LW Jig Container Separation Plant (CSP)
Some mining challenges call for a standard, low-cost and flexible separation plant; a plant that can easily be transported
and moved around on the mining site, which handles a stable capacity and guarantees maximum output. The LW Jig CSP
delivers those benefits, and more.
The LW Jig CSP is a standardized ‘off-shelf’ solution, designed in a container shape. Our goal: to ensure a low-cost solution
that suits exploration, start-up and other mining operations.
As in all LW Jig separation plants, the LW Jig is at the heart of the plant. This particular version enables a capacity varying
from 42 m³ and 60 m³ of solids per hour. It handles a broad particle range. To illustrate: gold particles as small as a human
hair (50 microns) up to 12 mm are being recovered by customers using the LW Jig.
Besides the LW Jig, the plant consists out of the following main components:
• grizzly (feed)
• scrubber
• stationary screen
The plant is built up by bolting the containers together. The robust skid-frame enables the plant to easily be moved
around on the mining site. Operational costs are minimized by reduced use of water (40 m³ per hour), electricity (10,7kW)
and space.

practical research for the design and performance of its LW
Jig seperation plants.
