Induction Furnace

It consists of one or two power frequency induction melting chamber and a power frequency induction holding chamber.

The shell of furnace body is made of refractory steel by welding. The internal of the furnace body is a furnace chamber which is bricking in mold bricks. Between the mold bricks there is the furnace lining that is ramming of quartz sands. The high voltage side of the furnace inductor is the coiled in rectangle hollow wire. The low voltage side is general call a short circuit coil of melting channel Whose material is just the material for melting.  After turning on the induction device, under the effect of induction heating, the copper will be melted.

It is elemental structure is much same the melting chamber as stated above.

In order to hold the molten copper level stability there is a channel which is made from mold brick between the melting and holding chamber.

The power of each inductor is 120KW until 250 KW and it will be selected according to the type of the machine.

Withdrawal machine

It consists of three parts: The withdrawing drive and Level tracking device and crystallizer etc.

On one side of the withdrawal machine, there are two sets of AC servo motor device which drive 5~10 pairs of “V” shape main shaft rollers. Every casting rod is driven by one pair of “V” shape shaft roller which is gripped by the wheel push by cylinder; the 5~10 strands of copper rods can be drawn separately. Every crystallizer can be installed easily.

Level tracking device makes the machine keep fixed distance with the melting copper level .The device involves a float which can move up and down with the liquid copper to send out electric signals to carry out the automatic control of level tracking through a striking piece and a micro switch to guarantee the depth of the graphite mould and the thermocouple inserted into the liquid. In the machine the water inlet and outlet hose with quick-joints can be installed and dismantled quickly. 

Coiling equipment 

It is installed between the guide pulley and the coilers. It involves dancer which can feed back to the electrical system quickly to make the coiling motor move quickly or slowly while the copper rod tension changes.

Double coiler consists of motors, reducer, coiling device, turn plate device and so on. The rod are driven by two pairs of clamping rolling wheels and coiled by the automatically rotating disks. 

The motors used in wheels and disks can be controlled by the speed controller.

Electric system

Electric system consists of inductor electric power system and control system. The inductor electric system supply power to each inductor by electric cabinets. The control system ensures normal operation and data record and display such as voltage of inductors, current, furnace temperature, water temperature (including temperature of the water in crystallizers), withdrawal speed and page.

Temperature measure system consists of copper liquid and cooling water system. Temperature data are displayed on digital thermometer to realize the surveillance. 

Water cooling system

Water cooling system was including recycling water tank and pump system and piping system.  It will supply cooling water of 0.2~0.4Mpa to crystallizers, water jackets and coilers. The emergency water supply is must required. The temperature of inlet water should be ensured between 20~35°C

and the capacity should be about 30 m³/h. In order to ensure the ability of heat exchange, a set of water soften system afforded by the Buyer is necessary.
