A. Saddle Hole Welding Machine
Saddle hole welding machine with saddle movement mechanism is used to weld the orthogonal intersection between two cylindrical vessels.
In this machine, a welder is fixed at the end of a specially designed saddle-shaped movement mechanism. While working, the machine is placed on the top of the nozzle tube, the welder moves according saddle curve path to fit the orthogonal intersection shape of two tubes.
Advantages:
1. Less manpower required
The machine can automatically realize the saddle curve movement. Only two people are required to operate the whole system, and neither of them is required to be a skilled technicians.
The machine is well designed for high speed welding. The linear welding speed can up to 540mm/min, and it is about 4-6 times faster than manually welding.
For example:
Nozzle tube diameter: 330mm,
Main tube diameter: 1000mm,
Thicknesses of the tubes: 200mm.
In this case, the required time is less than 70mins
2. High pass rate of products
In the above case, the pass rate is 99%, if well operated the pass rate could scale to 99.6%.
