1. Features of Lathe C5112
The single column vertical lathe model C5112-1(2) is a super rigid lathe with big machining capacities, stable structure and high machining efficiency. The lathe is equipped with one vertical tool head with one ram. It can also be equipped with high precision digital readout system (DRO) on X / Z axes. Electric encoder together with solenoid valves is integrated into the gear box. Gears are made of 40 Cr steel and precision ground for high precision and low machine noise. Electrics are controlled by OMRON / LS brand PLC.
The lathe machines are designed and built to meet modern machining requirements of high speed steel cutters and carbide cutters on workpieces of ferrous, non-ferrous, composite and other materials.
Functions: 1. I.D. & O.D. cylindrical turning,
2. end-facing,
3. I.D. & O.D. cone turning,
4. grooving,
5. boring, drilling, reaming, etc.
2. Lathe Body
Main bodies of the lathes are made of high rigid resin castings with thermal stress relief aging treatment. Small cast iron bodies are hardened with high temperature. All the steel parts are thermal refined.
3. Lathe Structure
High torque AC 22 kW main motor for vertical turret lathe model C5112-1 is adopted for driving the table through gear box. 16 speeds are achieved on the table. Double row cylindrical roller bearing is equipped under the table. The cone inner ring of the bearing can eliminate the radial clearance effectively for high precision and stable machining at high speed.
4. Hydrostatic Working Table of Vertical Lathe
Hydrostatic table is adopted with constant flow synchronous pumps. It features:
a). low friction for permanent life of table,
b). heavy load capacity on table,
c). oil film between machine base an d table absorbscutting vibration & loads,
d). a safety system controls the hydrostatic pressure for optimum safety.
5. Special Configurations of the lathe
The lathe can be equipped with the following special configurations to meet more requirements:
a). Side tool head,
b). 2-axis DRO system (3 – 4 axes for side tool head),
c). Guarding, coolant system including pump & tank, etc.
