1.Principle
Er:YAG laser (wave length 2940nm) is a solid-state laser. Due to the high absorption peak to water at this wave length, the skin will be quickly heated while its working on with Er:YAG laser and instantly peeling off the pathological tissues. The treatment features a shallow exposing depth only; therefore the affected part can be healed nearly without any recovery time.

3.Why is the 2940 erbium glass pixel fractional laser surgery equipment ?
Treatment with the fractional handpiece creates and ablation zone which effects 15-20% of the treatment area while leaving intact, undamaged skin around each treatment site. This untreated area acts as a reservoir for rapid healing. Since re-epithelialization of treatment zones occurs rapidly, there is a significant reduction in the risk of infection. By limiting the affected area, delicate skin areas, such as neck, chest and hands can be treated safely.
A laser peel is a technique to remove the upper layers of the skin. A laser is used to remove the top layer of the skin.
