Graphic Overlays and Panels are decorative components typically used as the front panel on a piece of equipment. OLY produces graphic overlays for two functions:
1) as an integral part of a membrane switch or 2) as standalone label.
Graphic overlays are produced on transparent materials and 2nd surface printed. OLY completes the production of graphic overlays (that often incorporate LCD and LED windows) using die-cutting, and embossing processes. OLY also produces silicone rubber key pads that are used as graphic overlays when the greater three dimensional appearance, and feel of silicone rubber is desired.
Custom graphic overlays are used in many commercial, industrial, military and consumer applications. Lexan graphic overlays, originally developed for military use, are the most common custom graphic overlays because of the durable nature of printed Lexan®.
