Emergency Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valve is designed to provide emergency relief capacity beyond that furnished by the normal operating pressure relief valve on the tank. The valve protects the tank against rupture or explosion that could result from excessive internal pressures caused by fire.

The inlet and outlet flange are in according with ANSI B 16.5 150Lb RF（It can be designed according to users’ requirement）；
Type of 8160 and 8168 are hinged with lift stop for positive reseating;
Guide sleeves of 8170 and 8178 can provides removable stop and restrict the lift of the cover;
Type 8180 is spring loaded, which is supposed to set on the high-pressure tanks. As excessive pressure builds up, Type 8180 relieves. Then it reseats when the overpressure has been dissipated.
