When there is no water in the pipe, the bronze valve clack drops down to the full opening position. Air is released from the discharge hole as water coming in, then water can be filled into the pipe immediately. When there isn't any air in the pipe, water comes into the valve, then valve clack goes up to the shut-off position by lifting of the floating ball. These improve water transporting capacity and efficiency of the pipe system, reduce power consuming.
