Hesco Concertainer units are a prefabricated, multi-cellular system, made of galvanised steel Weld mesh and lined with geotextile. They have been widely and successfully used for force protection in conflicts from Bosnia to Afghanistan. Walls built from the units have been used around military camps, guard posts, hospitals, stores and key public buildings such as embassies and consulates. Based on this experience, Concertainer units are ideally suited for protecting sensitive civilian installations particularly at risk from terrorist attack.

The HESCO barrier or HESCO bastion is a modern gabion used for flood control and military fortification. is made of a collapsible wire mesh container and heavy duty fabric liner, and used as a temporary to semi-permanent dike or barrier against blast or small-arms.

It is made of galvanized welded mesh, spring with other fittings, can be filled with sand, earth, cement, stone. Can be used in separate cell or some cells joint together.
