3. Advantages

Good structure design

The unit is designed to be installed universally. It is not needed to make a distinction between left and right hand installation when it is to be adjacent installed at the end of shelter base station.

The main components such as: compressor, fan, motor, damper and other related components can be accessed in front of the unit and can be field replaced without removing the units when installed side-by-side on the same end of shelter.

Dual cooling source( MOBILECOOL-SPLIT excluded)

Each unit is equipped with both mechanical cooling system and free cooling system as standard. The fresh air free cooling is designed to be the primary source of cooling.

Anti corrosion

All unit framework is provided with corrosion protection treatment. The treatment is sufficient to provide a protection for 15 years life cycle for inland installation.

If necessary, the treatment for sea air environment can be supplied as optional.

High sensible heat ratio

The Sensible heat ratio of all the units are high than 0.9

Wide working range

The unit can work at minimum -15°C(-22°F), maximum 52°C(125.6°F) ambient temperature continuously and reliably.

High capacity air filter

When the pressure drop of the filter reached 250Pa end resistance, the unit air flow will not be less than 90% of air flow at standard condition.

High torque and low leakage air damper

The air filter is equipped with a high torque and low leakage air damper. The time for opening and closing the damper is less than 90 seconds. The Air Leakage across damper is less than 5% by volume of the air normally passing through the unit when a reverse pressure of 125 Pa is applied to the damper

Smaller dimensions

The unit has a smaller dimension because of compact optimized structure design. Its volume is the smallest among the products with similar performance of other suppliers.

Auto changeover of working mode

The unit automatically selects the working mode: mechanic cooling or free cooling according to the temperature of indoor side and outdoor side. In the event of either electrical or mechanical failure affecting the refrigeration system, the unit will be capable of automatic reversion to the fresh air cooling mode.

Random restart when power recovered

After a power failure, when the power is recovered, the unit will restarts automatically with a random time delay between 1 to 60 seconds to avoid many equipments started at the same time.

Automatic self-diagnosis

All the components connected to microprocessor are continuously tested. In case of malfunction, the failure is shown on the display with information accordingly.

The Attend Mode function

When service people is working in base station, he can simply press 2 buttons on the controller interface, then the control temperature of the air conditioner will be set as 22°C(71.6°F) (settable) automatically. Half an hour later (settable), the control temperature of air conditioner will be returned to original set point.

4 levels password protection

There are 4 levels password protection for the control system

Voltage protection

There is a voltage relay for protection. When the supply voltage is out of permitted range, the unit will be stopped. For 3 phase unit, if there is phase unbalance or phase absence, the unit will also be stopped for protection.

There are a lot of alarms for the complete protection to the unit

Night storage cooling

The customer can enable or disable the control function according to actual situation.

If this function is enabled, the control temperature will be reduced when it is running on night time between 18-00hrs and 06-00hrs. So, some cooling capacity can be stored by the low cooling air at night and then be used for day running.

Humidity limitation

The control function can be enabled or disabled on site.

If it is enabled, and the humidity of outside is high than 90%, free cooling will be turned off in order to avoid outside humid air introduced to inside of base station.

Automatic maintenance test

A maintenance test facility is provided to enable an engineer to press/select one button that will activate a self-test routine.

The self-test routine will check for the satisfactory operation of the fresh air damper and the compressor refrigerant circuits.

Free cooling

Ifthe temperature of outdoor temperature is 2 °C or more lower than indoor temperature, the free cooling will be started up to introduce the outdoor air and the indoor air is displace to outdoor, so the indoor air is cooled by outdoor air.

High efficiency EC fan (Optional)

EC fan is featured with high efficiency, wide speed adjustment range, low noise, light weight and over 10 years running time continuously.

High efficiency compressor

Compressor is the key component of cooling. We use high efficiency compressor to have a basic energy saving.

Displacement air supply

Cold air is supplied at low level. The air gets heat at low level and is displaced to high level. So, the inlet air of air conditioner can be higher and the air temperature difference between inlet and outlet can be bigger, which means the air flow rate of the unit can be reduced and at the same time, the energy consumption of supply fan is reduced.

Comparing with up flow air distribution, displacement air distribution can save 2~5% energy.

High indoor control temperature

The temperature in base station is normally controlled at 24 ±°C. Now, more and more operators is to control the temperature at 28,32 or 35°C. The energy efficiency is getting higher as the temperature goes up, and also the heat dissipated to outside through wall of base station. Totally 10~20% energy saving can be achieved by this way and the unit life cycle can be extended.
