How does a ground source heat pump work?
Ground source heat pumps work by extracting heat from pipes laid in the ground outside your home.
The heat from underground causes evaporation of the coolant that has a low boiling point.Coolant vapor get compressed by the compressor which makes it heated up.The hot vapour then passes through a heat exchanger(condenser),condensing and giving off its heat to heating water.Then it cools down swiftly when passing through the expansion valve and the cycle starts again.

There are two lines for the output hot water and a solenoid valve control the water flow.One line is connected to hot water tank for shower,the other line is connected to room for underfloor heating.But shower hot water have priority, the valve turn to underfloor heating after the shower hot water reach 55°C which you set on the control panel.
