Newest Magnetic Type Rockwell & Brinell Hardness Tester
Newest Magnetic Type Rockwell & Brinell Hardness Tester

Detailed Product Description

FEATURES

The PHBR series portable Brinell & Rockwell hardness testers are designed based on the PHR Rockwell hardness tester and follow the test methods of of Brinell and Rockwell hardness test and function as both Brinell and Rockwell hardness testers.

Testing principle and accuracy is in accordance with the relevant international standard ISO6508, 6506 and American standard ASTM E110.

Used for testing the castings, forgings, steels and nonferrous metal and work pieces made of all kinds of metal materials under kinds of heat treatment.

Capable of testing finished and semi-finished metal workpieces of various dimensions and shapes by using different anvils.

Traceable standard hardness block. Indenter inspected with standard Rockwell hardness tester.

Application

Used for testing iron and steel work pieces.
Able to test the large-size work pieces which are assembled, unable to cut and inconvenient to move such as the large-size mold, steel plate, steel tube, steel structure, boiler, pressure vessel and metallic pipeline etc.
Able to test the hardness of welding lines and heat affected zones.
Able to directly test the work piece with a flat surface; able to test the tubular specimens of certain diameters with additional optional adapters.

The test can be performed on the tilting or vertical surface as well as on the level surface.

Application:

The magnetic type hardness testers are recommended to test medium and large work pieces. The large hardness testers are the first choice for testing the work pieces that can no be tested by magnetic type hardness testers. Small hardness testers are suitable to test small work pieces.

Brinell hardness tester is used for testing raw materials, rough castings and forgings.

Rockwell hardness tester is used for testing finished or half-finished work pieces under final heat treatment.
