How much hair will I need ?

it really depends on the look you are going for. For partial weaves you will typically need anywhere from 3.5 oz to 6 oz. For the average full head weave you will need at least 8 oz of hair. Longer and fuller styles typically require more hair. For people going for a fuller look, or working with hair 22 inches or longer, they should consider purchasing anywhere from 12 to 16 oz. Many of our customers purchase different lengths for natural layering (ex. 18", 20", & 22").

How do you care for Virgin Remy hair?

Because this is 100% human remy hair you would care for this hair just as you would your very own. Wash and condition it regularly. You can blow dry, but we recommend drying the hair by either sitting under a hair dryer or when possible let your hair air dry. Here is a tip, for flowing loose curls with out heat, try braiding your hair up at night, be sure to tuck it in a scarf or bonnet of some sort, the result will be curls that last all day.

Should I trim or cut my Virgin Remy hair?

Most definitely. Remember this is natural hair, so it needs the same attention and care that you would give your own. Your own natural hair needs to be trimmed and cleaned up for it to flow the way you would prefer.....so the Virgin Remy hair needs the same attention. We recommend trimming and cleaning up your ends after your initial installment of your weave or extensions. This will allow your hair to flow beautifully! As far as cutting, it would definitley be your choice depending on your style, but we ALWAYS recommend that every Vimagehairs client makes this hair their own, by framing your face and finding a style that fits YOU.

A1. How Much Hair Do I Need?

B : For average head size, here is my suggestion:12"-14": 2 bundles16"-22": 3 bundles24"-28": 3 bundles or more

A2. What type of hair care products should I use?

B : Treat this hair just as if it was your own hair.1, Use good quality shampoo and hair conditioner to care the hair. It's important to keep the hai soft and shiny.2, You could use gel or spray styling products to keep the hair style.3, Olive oil will be a good choice to keep the hair healthy.

A3. Why are my hair extensions getting tangled?

B: It could be caused by dry hair. Pls make sure to wash & condition your hair at least once a week, twice a week is better. Comb the hair from time to time. You could go to your stylist for further suggestions.

A4. How long does it last?

B : How long the hair lasts depends on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take very good care of it, then normally it could last longer than 2 year.

A4: Why the colors of hair extensions don`t seems exactly as the pictures show or description says?B: Different monitor have different displays. The same color number may have a little color difference. You could dye the hair if you need different colour.

A5: Can they be straightened, curled ?

B: Yes you could use hair straightener or hair curler to style the hair. However, don't do it too frequently, or the heat will make the hair easily get dry and tangled.

A6: Can I dye/color the hair?

B. Yes. The hair can be colored. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. We recommend to dye darker, since it is difficult for the original colour to fade. Improper dying will ruin the hair. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions. Colouring by yourself will take a risk of not coming out the shade you want. If you can't get to a salon, please always use a good quality products and test a small sample first.

A7: How to tell human hair with synthetic hair?

B: human hair has natural protein . It is easy to tell by burning and smell : human hair will be ash , which will go away after pinching. human hair will smell foul . When burning , the human hair will show white smoke.While synthetic hair will be a sticky ball after burning and will show black smoke.Moreover, human hair may have very few gray hair and split ends. It is normal and not a quality problem.

1)wash it by the most mild shampoo or one specially formulated for chemically treated hair,and clean in warm water as well.please use the shampoo recommended by professional hairdresser.

2)comb the wet hair gently by a large toothed comb and drying naturally is best.

3)please straighten the hair if hair extension is straight when it is wet,please gel hair if it is wavy.

4)don't blow hair root too nearly by dryer,don't grasp hair root when washing.

5)don't cover hair extension under the sun in a long time.

6)don't swim wearing hair extension.
