decaffeinated green tea has its own effective components and taste.
This new kind of drink meets the demand of particular tea drinkers
who enjoy the pleasure of tea drinking but concerning the side effect of caffeine in common tea that may lead to sleepless and quicken heart beating.
In August 2004, our company took the lead to introduce this specific technology and patent equipment for manufacture of decaffeinated tea from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science Institute of Tea.
Up to today, the output of decaffeinated tea of our company has developed to 100 tons annually.
The quality of our production is stable and meets the prescribed standard.
During the producing procedure, 70 percent of caffeine will be removed and the left will be less than 0.9 percent (while the naormal content of caffeine is 3%). In addition, the content of tea polyphenols (GTP) will be more than 18 percent and other effective components can also be kept as high as 90 percent. The final decaffeinated green tea will keep the flavour of traditional Chinese green tea.
