Properties: This product assumes white crystal or powder particulated or crystallized. It is no smell or has a bit of propanoic acid flavor, and is steady in light and heat and easily dissolvable in water.
Usages: This product is used as antistaling agent and antimould agent in food industry. Additive amount: 0.25~0.5% used in bread and cake; 0.2~0.4% used in chocolate-made products; Below 1% used in jelly, candied fruit and jam; 0.1~0.3% used in sugar and cheese; 0.1~0.25% used in soy sauce.
Limits: Propanoic acid is the result of oxidizing amino acid and fatty acid inside the human body. Thus propanoic acid and its salty kinds are very safe antistaling agents. There is no limited standard of ADI.
Package: 1) This product is bagged in a two-layered polythene film food bag with each bag weighting 500g-1000g net, and also is put in a cardboard box which weights 10kg net. 2) This product may also be bagged in knitting bag which weights 25kg net and there is one two-layered polythene food bag inside.
