A free-flowing, light yellow granula consisting of spherical particles. The granula contains Vitamin D3 in vegetable oil as droplets of 1-2 μm embedded in a starch-coated matrix of gelatin and sucrose, It is stabilized with t-butylhydroxytoluene (BHT) and contains tricalcium phosphate as a flow aid.

SOLUBILITY
Dispersible in warm water (35-40°C) forming a milky emulsion
STABILITY
In the dry granula, stability is very good even in the presence of minerals. Very little vitamin D is extruded during tabletting. It has a shelf life of 24 months stored in the original unopened container under recommended storage conditions.
APPLICATIONS
For fortifying powder products such as baby and children’s food, dietetic foods, milk powders, and vitamin premixes for food industry.
