Application

XDX series hydrocyclone system is mainly applied for extracting refined starch milk, which means to remove the soluble and non-soluble protein and the tiny fiber in the starch milk.

Structure & Principle 

    Hydrocyclone separator consists of casing, orifice plate, cover, cyclone tube and blocked tube.

Starch milk and washing water adopt the mode of upstream to pass the washing system, the washing system usually consists of 6-12 stages. Each stage contains several cyclone tubes, which are installed in parallel and work independently in the casing of hydrocyclone separator.

    Hydrocyclone separator of each stage consists of feed connection, underflow connection and overflow connection.

    Underflow contains concentrated starch milk, and overflow contains soluble substances and dregs. Certain stage’s underflow with its previous stage’s overflow is conveyed to their middle stage’s feed pump. Starch milk firstly enters into first stage, and gradually being washed stage by stage until the stark milk meets the standard of refined starch milk, finally the starch milk leaves the system through last stage’s overflow.
