Photocatalytic Filter
Photocatalytic Filter

Product Introduction
Zixilai photocatalytic filters are made with self-developed nano-TiO2 photocatalyst using state-of-the-art technologies to evenly spread nano-TiO2 particles over the surface of filters made of different materials. Nano-TiO2 photocatalyst uses UV light, sunlight or fluorescent light to excite the electrons from the valence band to the conduction band to yield holes in the valence band and generate highly-oxidizing hydroxyl radicals, superoxide anion radicals and superoxide hydroxyl radicals, which can oxidize and decompose poisonous and harmful pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, dimethylbenzene, ammonia and TVOC, odors and bacteria into harmless CO2 and H2O. The product has good air-purifying and wide-spectrum sterilizing effects. It can effectively purify air and prevent cross-infection of bacteria and viruses.
Active carbon filters work mainly through physical absorption, characterized by limited absorptivity, short service life and secondary pollution, and they do not have sterilizing effect. Filters made with common catalysts purify air by consuming catalysts. The service life is short. Photocatalytic filters use nano-TiO2 as the photocatalyst. TiO2 serves as a reaction medium but has no self changes and losses during the reaction process. It is a safe and nontoxic product with lasting and sustained air-purifying and anti-bacteria effects, and free from secondary pollution. It is an internationally recognized green

Application Area
Photocatalytic filters are widely used in air-purifiers, air-conditioners, car air-purifying systems, workshop ventilators and industrial waste gas treatment systems, with satisfactory effects. They are a new-type effective filter for air-purifying
