1.COP increases 

At the same ambient temperature, solar energy assists heating to raise the evaporated temperature in refrigerant gas system, the heating coefficient of performance of condensing unit increases much more than the condensing unit of air source heating pump. The heating coefficient of performance is changing with the evaporated temperature.

2.Prevent defrosting on evaporator, reduce defrosting time

With the heating function of subsidiary heat supply, raise input air temperature in evaporator, reduce the possibility of defrosting in order to prevent defrosting on the surface of the evaporator, keep high heat exchange efficiency. Meanwhile, the defrosting frequency and time reduce greatly, save a lot of electric energy, ensure the condensing unit of the heat pump to operate continuously.

3.Improve the working condition and extend the service life.

When the ambient temperature is low, the compression increases rapidly, the exhaust temperature of compressor will exceed the permit range which may result in compressor frequent start/stop. Solar energy acts as the secondary heat source to raise the evaporated temperature, and improve the working condition, solve the problem of non-operation in the condition of low ambient temperature, extend the service life.
