The CCS wire use 99% pure copper clad steel, it has the intensity and tenacity of steel, and also have the conductivity and anti-corrosion of copper. It is used in electric railway, network communication, underground, cable and so on. It is consistency, intensity higher, cost cheaper etc.
It is one material which can be substituted as pure copper stranded cables.
