F-GY1010 Diffraction of light
Experiment contents and related subjects: 1.The diffraction phenomenon of filaments, single slit, double slits,multi-slits and small holes can be observed and the light intensity distribution can be measured.
2.Verify the relationship between the wavelength, slit width and the intensity distribution.
3.Grating equation, Heisenberg uncertainty principle and Babinet principle. Features of the instruments: 1. Using semiconductor lasers whose power stability is better than 1%.
2. Light detector: aperture plate contains12 steps, the limiting aperture are circular hole and slit respectively.
Diameters of the circular hole are 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 6.0 mm; width of the slit are 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.2mm. 3. Slit components: it contains filament, single slit, double slit, multi-slit, grating and many other structures. 4. Large one-dimension displacement plane: lateral movement accuracy is 0.02mm and range of movement is ≥100mm. Complete set of equipment: Optical experiment guide (1200mm), semiconductor laser, small one-dimensional + slit components, laser power indicator, one-dimensional displacement plane probe light + 12 steps light detector and etc..\
