The dryer is mainly used to bake and dry materials that exist in ore dressing, building materials, metallurgical, and chemical sectors and have certain moisture or grain sizes. The rotary dryer has a good adaptability and is capable of baking and drying a great variety of materials. Moreover, it is easy to operate and maintain and therefore widely used.
Performance & Features
This machine mainly comprises the gyrator, throwing board, transmission gear, support member and seal ring. The dryer we provides uses new throwing board pattern that is able to guide, equalize and throw the material flow so that materials can be evenly distributed radially on the cross section of the dryer. The material curtain is thin, uniform, and complete, and has a full contact with hot air to make full use of the heat energy. The operating parameters of this machine are reasonably selected, having coal and power consumptions down by at least 10-15% compared with general dryers and output per hour up by at least 10-15%. It has been widely applied in cement and ore dressing factories.
Principle of Operation
Heat source of the dryer comes from the combustion device and uses a parallel-flow heating mode so that materials to be dried are flowed from the feeding tank and runner into the drum and pushed backwards by spiral shoveling plate. As the dryer is tilted when settled down, materials usually flow to the back end due to the effect of gravity and gyration on one hand, and are shoveled up repeatedly to the upper end and disperse in the handling course, forming a uniform material curtain inside the drum which fully contacts the hot air therein to exchange heat. As materials are shoveled up and dispersed again and again, moisture contained by them is dried up gradually.
