XY-5 is a mechanical transmit hydraulic feeding spindle-type core drilling machine. It is suitable for deeper core drilling and geophysical exploration. It is widely used in the exploration of geology, hydrology, metallurgy and coalfield. It is also used for drilling pile hole and medium and deep water well as well as shallow oil and gas well.
Hydraulic chuck and automatic centring manual chuck are assembled on the spindle, and hoist is equipped with water brake. XY-5 is mainly used for core drilling with diamond bits for exploration of the solid mineral deposits.
