Oil Rig Simulator Simulates: the whole process of OIL EXTRACTION
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Oil Rig Simulator is designed to provide training for engineers and technicians in oil rig engineering.
System main goal:
1. Provide instructions and training in oil rig technique and theory for technicians and students majored in Oil-Rig.
2. Provide operational practices for technicians and employees.
3. Provide training for students with demonstration experiments, operational practice and technique learning and operation in the courses of oil rig Technique Theory and oil rig Practice.
4. Provide 2D/3D real-time working flow.

Oil collection console
The oil collection console controls the valves and devices in the oil collection system. The console consists of the following panels: rod-pumped well control panel, electric pump well control panel, water-injection well control panel, water-blending valve group and inlet manifold control panel, distribution valve group control panel, plunger pump control panel, heater control panel, metering separator control panel, centrifugal pump control panel, chemical adding control panel. All the parameters are calculated real-time, and are consistent with working site.

Instructor Console and Graphics Processing Unit
The Instructor Console is made up of a high performance Graphics computer. Its main functions include graphics control, computing and plotting parameter curves. The Graphics Processing Unit consists of a high performance computer and a special graphics accelerator which connected to main computer by Ethernet.

Graphics Projecting Unit
Graphics are projected onto wall in displaying field scenery. Two kinds of Graphics Projecting Unit are available. One is ordinary projecting unit. It features low price but less attractive environment. The other applies virtual reality technology in Drilling Simulator.
SYSTEM SOFTWARE :
The system software is Windows style which is convenient for user and system administrator, which consists of 2 parts, including 2D work flow interface and 3D equipment status interface. The console panel control equipment state of the graphics software, the main control software in real time to calculate the flow state of each pipeline.
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR FUNCTIONS :
1. Simulate and set environmental parameters in oil rig operation.
2. Hardware self-check: check one-time gauges and operators of designated console to confirm abnormal objects.
