ECO-WAY SF Solid Runway Deicer is fast-acting and environmentally acceptable for use on all airside operational surfaces as well as landside applications. ECO-WAY SF Solid Runway Deicer is manufactured to meet the strict performance and ecological requirements of AMS 1431. ECO-WAY SF is a highly effective substitute for urea for general airport usage.

DEICING

The primary purpose of chemical deicing is not to melt surface ice, but rather to diffuse down through the snow and ice to break the bond between frozen precipitation and the runway.
