Physicochemical properties: Aluminum phosphide TC is greyish green or yellowish green solid, odorless, stable when dry, easily absorb water and decompose to release phosphine, specific gravity: 2.424, won't melt, sublime when heated to 1100.
Toxicity: According to China Pesticide Toxicity Grading Standard, aluminum phosphide belongs to riskiest pesticide. It can absorb moisture and spontaneously decompose to release phosphine gas, which is hypertoxic to human.
Functions & characteristics: This product is broad-spectrum fumigation pesticide, mainly used to fumigate and kill differents kinds of vermin in warehouses. Phosphine gas decomposed from aluminum phosphide can kill all kinds of vermin such as rice weevil, granary weevil, grain moth, oryzaephilus surinamensis, tryporyza confusum, tribolium castaneum and lasioderma serricorne in paddy, barley, wheat, corn, beans and peas whether they are imagoes, pupae, larvaes or ova as well as acarid.
