In industry : It is widely used in textile printing and dyeing thickner, paper coating and detergent etc. Especially in dyeing and printing . The advantages of sodium alginate is good penetrability ;even printed ,easy to wash; soft ; clear grains ,easy to make paste, etc. It is preferred printing paste.
In the use of food: It can keep moisture and form colloids. It has the abilities of emulsifying and stabilizing. It is widely used as additive of frozen food, cake and fine dried noodles and pudding ,dessert ,gel trap , mapi crisptrap and artificial bionic food .
Medicament aspect: Sodium alginate used for intestine with a soft capsule, barium meal contrast agent, gavirin tablet, dental cast and other pharmaceutical excipients.
In other aspect: Sodium alginate also used in paper making, daily-use chemical, fowndry, welding jackets, fish and shrimp diet, concrete release agent, potting mix release agent etc.
