In China, the crude processing cant be in like in Europe where people apply highly invested hydro-catalytic system widely, but applying catalytic cracking systems more often. Over 2005, the crude processing load is over 100Mt.
The feed nozzles installed in the risers receive a highly concern. Chinese experts consider that the crude atomization is the key to make catalytic reaction more efficient,while foreign experts have the same opinion. They get the same conclusion that to improve the total yields, the usage of better feed nozzle and fastening the speed of crude atomization is the best way.
Till now, CS nozzles have been used over 100 units, include around 30 large units from 1Mt/y to 2.8Mt/y. The rest about 40 smaller and private units locate in Shandong Province, where due to the investment limitation, the refineries process the most low quality crude, the units require more in the design. When Sende started to promote CS, Shandong Province is chosen as the first and best stage to test CS nozzles' performance. And the result is so satisfying that after 2003 concuring the nozzle market in Shandong, CS nozzles started to be introduced to the refineries all over China and are earning widespread respect. By the way, only 3 Units in China use imported nozzles.
The special performance of CS nozzle:

2.Can be stably used for 3-5years. Till now, CS nozzles are appliced in the unit of Sinopec Jinxi Branch for 5 years and in Sinopec Qingdao Branch for 4 years and the best for 3 years. Why most are used in 3 years, because Chinese catalytic cracking units are required to overhaul every 3 years by regulation.
3.Increasing economic benefit. The excellent performance of CS nozzles can reduce produce gas, and coke efficiently, and then increase liquid product yield. The final benefit is 50 times than the price of the nozzles. In China, CS nozzles have replaced quite a lot other brand nozzles, include ones from UOP. According to the yield reports from old nozzles and CS nozzles, the benefit gained after use CS nozzles can be proved.
4.High flexibility. Due to the special design, using CS nozzles can improve the units to process heavier crude and add in more residual oil.
5.Slowing down the coke efficiently, which can be proved by the reports from our customers.
