Floating Valve Tray .
The tray plate of valve tray, shaped as round, bar and rectangular, etc., has valve holes opened and valve element equipped available to ride up and down within some proper scope. The circulation area between the float valve and try could be adjusted automatically along with the changes in gas load, so its available to maintain stable operations within a broad scope of gas loads. Gas may be blown out horizontally from the tray, so that the gas-liquid contact is of long time, the entrainment is small, and the fall of liquid level is also relatively small. Compared with bubble cap tray, floating valve tray has bigger processing capacity, lower pressure drop, and higher tray efficiency. However, the valve holes are easy to abrade, and valve element is easy to fall off.
Varieties: F1 float valve, bar float valve, guide float valve, trapezoidal float valve, cross float valve, V-shaped float valve, T-shaped float valve, and compound float valve.
A. F1 float valve: At present, F1 float valve is most extensively used, and includes light valve and heavy valve. Valve element and three valve legs are made as a whole, and around the valve element are three Initiative Spacing Pieces which can keep some certain clearance between the valve element and tray plate when the valve element is closed up. The Initiative Spacing Pieces make the interface between the valve element and tray plate very small to prevent the valve element from sticking to the tray plate, so that the valve element can rise smoothly when the gas increases. The circumambience of valve element inclines downwards and strengthens the turbulence action in the gas-liquid contact.
B. A1 float valve: A1 float valve possesses double valve elements, where the upper layer is light valve element which can close up the valve hole fully; the upper layer is pressure plate with supporting feet, and can play the role of valve stand at low gas flux and also float up with the valve element at high gas flux, with position limited depending on the location stand.
C. RS float valve: RS float valve is the latest generation of high-performance valve tray, and enjoys the comprehensive optimization of float valve and tray, as well as simultaneous improvement in processing capability and separation efficiency.
