Petroleum resin petroleum resin is the by-product of oil cracking distillateC5, C9 , premenstrual processing, polymerization, distillation technology production of a thermoplastic resin, it is not high polymer, but molecular weight between 300-3000 oligomer.
2.ClassificationPetroleum resin can be generally classified as C5 alphatic (fat species), C9 aromatic (aromatic hydrocarbons), DCPD (ring fat dienes, cycloaliphatic) and pure monomer (such as poly SM, AMS (alpha methyl styrene) and other products), and other four types, its molecular components are hydrocarbons, so it is also called a hydrocarbon resin (hydrocarbon resins, HCR).
