The ceramic balls with openings are a new product based on inert alumina ceramic balls. The hole is opened through the axis of the ball diameter. So the balls not only has a certain mechanical strength, chemical stability and thermal stability, but also has large specific area and void ratio. Then they increase the dispersion and throughput of the feedstock and reduce the resistance of system. The ceramic balls with openings can be widely used in petrochemical, chemical and natural gas industries, replacing inert alumina ceramic balls as the covering and supporting packing for catalysts.
