Characteristics:
Activated cermic ball is a new-type catalyst-supporting and covering packing prepared by adding a few of metal oxide filter in inert alumina ball. Besids the properties of inert alumina ball such as high temperature resistance ,high pressure resistance and high mechanical strength.It has certain catalyst activity to assist the catalyst in the process of olefin saturation,desulfurization and denitrification.
Application:
When activated ceramic balls are packed at the top of the catalyst bed in a hydrogenation reactor for hydrogenation refining,hydrocracking,hydroadding and hydroadding in benzene.It can preliminarily hydrogenate secondary processing raw oil.By this means coked catalyst will be reduced
When activated ceramic balls are packed at the bottom of the catalyst bed It can remove mercaptan which is produced in some reaction process.
In addition activated ceramic balls can help the reactor use his space well.It can also protect the catalyst from being poisoned and coked.As a result of this the service life of catalyst is prolonged.
