Detailed Product Description
This upward continuous casting unit is specially designed for the production of 8mm Oxygen-free copper rod of bright surface and with high electrical conductivity.
Principle:
The copper cathodes are melted into liquid form inside the induction melting furnace. It is isolated from air by the charcoal covered on the surface, or by coal gas in order to avoid oxidation of the copper liquid. The copper liquid is then kept inside the holding furnace under a temperature of 1150±10. In the upcasting machine, the molten copper is quickly crystallized inside the crystallizers to produce the copper rods continuously. The copper rod products are finally collected in the coiler.
