Introduction: Zinc Borate is one environmental-friendly halogen -free f lame retardant.There are some formulations of X ZnO. YB2O3.ZH2O,in which ZincBorate with 3 hydrate is called ZB-2 23 (2ZnO .2B2O3.3H2O). ZB-223 is an good flame retardant synergist and smoke suppressant in polymers to partially replace Antimony Oxide,and can be used in certain applications as afterglow suppressant and antiarcing agent.Due to its high Zinc content, ZB-223 is mainly recommended for PVC,and also have applications in polyolefins, polyurethanes, thermoplastic elastomers and rubbers.
