Operational principle:

 WHAT’ S  “λ”?

Lambda is a mathematical calculation representing air/fuel ratio. The

figure is derived by dividing the actual air/fuel ratio of the engine by

the theoretically correct value [14.7:1].

Stoichiometric Air Fuel Ratio(AFR)=14.7:1 (λ=1)

Mixture rich:the actual AFR is smaller than the Stoichiometric AFR

Mixture lean:the actual AFR is bigger than the Stoichiometric AFR

If the mixed air is too rich (λ<1), the voltage is about 1v, fuel injection need to be decreased;

If the mixed air is too lean, the voltage ia about 0V, the fuel injection need to be increased (λ<1).

 Testing Data:

Fuel:unleaded petrol(quality same as  93# or above)

Operating Temperatures:

Exhaust gas at sensor element: 350°C ~ 850°C

Hexagon of the sensor housing: ≤570°C

Cable and protective sleeve: ≤250°C

Connector:  ≤120°C
