The innovative controller (Second generator) will be applied to wind turbine generator systems from 3KW to 20KW. Compared to the controller (First generator), the innovative controller will be equipped with the following advantages:
1. The off-grid and on-grid controlling system will be existed in the same controller. The end users can choose either off-grid or on-grid purpose by the switch;
2. There will be automatic and effective check for wind speed, wind direction, temperature inside the generator, RPM, voltage and current;
3. The function of yawing, brake and unloading system will guarantee the normal operation for the wind turbine generator;
4. Spacing of software and hardware makes the anti-kink function much more reliable;
5. Combinations of active and passive protection will enable all protections to be far more credible;
6. Wider voltage applicable range with the highest one 900VDC;
7. The normal and reliable operation of wind turbine generator will be ensured by adding the function of checking RPM, generator temperature, current and electrical braking system;
8. RPM controller will prevent the blades from damaging when RMP of wind turbine generator goes fast;
9. The check for temperature and current will make the wind turbine generator go into yawing protection when generator overheat, which will reduce the power output gradually to stop the output
10. The unloading protection will work independently against other protections, thus the wind turbine generator will work safely even when the controller is inactive. The protection level for controller is Ip65, which can be positioned outdoors;
11. The innovative controller is applicable to the newly-developed wind turbine generator and to the old version wind turbine generator as well.
