Appearance: Pure anhydrous sodium hydroxide is white translucent, crystalline solid. It was strongly alkaline aqueous solution with alkali all perforating. Purely solid caustic soda is white, there is massive, flakes, solid, and granular.

Application: The use of sodium hydroxide and alkaline desiccant, paper, aluminum smelting, refining tungsten, rayon and soap manufacturing. In addition, in the production of dyes, plastics, pharmaceutical and organic intermediates, old rubber regeneration system of metallic sodium, water electrolysis, as well as inorganic salt production, preparation of borax, chromium salt, potassium permanganate, phosphate, etc., but also the use of many of caustic soda.
