We have three kinds of compressors: 1)ammonia refrigerating compressor;2)Freon refrigerating compressors;3)air compressor.
The centrifugal compressor use the rotation of one impeller or multi_impeller to increase the speed of gas. The direction of the gas is radial. Centrifugal compressor is also called turbo compressor. The main structure and working principle are similar to the centrifugal blower,but the number of the impeller is more than it,maybe 10 impellers so that the rotation speed is higher, and the pressure is also higher. Because the compression ratio of the gas is higher, the volume change is more, temperature increases quickly, the centrifugal compressor is divided into several sections, each section including many stages. The diameter and width of impeller reduces gradually, inter-cooler is between sections and avoid high gas temperature.
Application: Handling compressed air, coal gas, hemi_water coal gas, coke oven gas, sintering flue gas, ammonia and natural gas etc.
