PTFE To Metal Bonding Diaphragms
Rayflon manufactures not only PTFE/TFM® rubber diaphragms but also the bonding diaphragms of PTFE with metal insert and other plastics. Steel is the most prevalent insert material used, but brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and nylon are also used. By bonding inserts to diaphragms, costly assembly operations can be reduced or eliminated. Additionally, rivet, screw or other fastening methods which might create leak paths through the diaphragm would be eliminated with a bonded insert.Features:PTFE/TFM® provides chemical resistance of media.Metal/plastic inserts fixing to other components and transferring of force.
